A bit of info about freebies....

A few tips to make finding freebies as stress free as possible:
1. Set up an email account just for freebies. In most cases you have to enter your email address in order to get the freebie. I have an extra one just for that reason.
2. Never enter your credit card information. A genuine freebie is just that free. On some occasions a reputable company will offer freebies that require you to pay shipping. Just make sure you read the fine print. Verify that you are not actually joining a club where you will be charged monthly. Personally I only request 100% free freebies. I will not fill out the form if it requires my credit card info.
3. Find a freebie site you trust that offers only 100% free freebies. Let them do all the leg work while you get all the freebies.
4. When filling out a request double click each box where you enter your personal info. Generally your computer saves that info and a drop box will come down with your name, address, and so forth. Less typing saves you time.
5. When you click submit, allow time for the site to process. Sometimes the sites move slow due to a large response.
6. If it is something you really want, jump on it right away. In the case of freebies, "the early bird does get the worm!!".

These are just a few things to make your freebie hunt more fun. I am all about a peaceful life. Anything that adds clutter (of any kind) to my life has got to go. In todays fast paced environment the last thing you need is something to trip on.

So, I finally (after yrs of nagging from my sister) opened my facebook account. Pretty cool. It is definitly a good tool for obtaining more traffic to my site. I am new to the whole blogging thing, but one thing I have figured out is mybloglog is a waste of time. I have been spending a lot of time on there promoting my freebie site. Now don't get me wrong. You will get traffic and they will even click on your ads. However, for the most part everyone on there is doing the same thing you are, promoting their sites. Therefore, you will not get very many loyal return users. You will get the ones that only come to yours because they want you to come to theirs. So, for now I am done with mybloglog. I am moving on to bigger and hopefully better venues.
