Your Social Profile

A message to all members of MegaTraffic.tk

Hi MegaT members! Just a couple of suggestions you might try.
Are you using your profiles to your advantage?

Every profile page you own on the internet should brand you. Not sure what "brand" means? It is the same as any brand name like "Dell" only it is yours, so when people see it, they know what you offer. Most internet marketers never get to brand themselves or their own company because they are trying to promote another brand. Do not feel bad! I know this from experience!

The main mistake all new marketers make is not creating their own brand, they just try to sell something they like or find interesting.

Build your brand first, earn your readers trust talking about something you like and know. Then you can sell them practically anything!

So, make your profile friendly and inviting.
Do not make it an ad page!
Use the rank of the community to link back to your blogs and web pages to give your profile visitors more information about any of your current products or programs.

Your profile is also a splash or capture page. It is building you a list! Keeping it targeted to people looking for what you offer by the information you ad to it will create a targeted list! See what the community is about, some will work better for some target markets than others. Most communities allow you to send mail to your friends.... again, do not just send ads! Give them good information, offer free products or services when you can and just include a link to for them to check out what you offer. Hammering them with unwanted ads will get your emails shut off to them and can get you kicked out of the community! A big no - no!

Your Profile pages should be part of your overall web presence. Your web presence should all be linked together so a visitor coming in on any page you have online can easily find anything you offer. (Don't worry! I am still working on this one!)

Happy weekend fellow MegaTers!

I am a mechanical kind of guy and like to keep track of how things are working so I have the Google and Alexia toolbars on my browsers. These are the first things I look at when I arrive on a page! I like the ones telling how easy it is to get website visitors and for such & such $$$ they will hook you up! But their Alexa traffic rank is 15 million! I see something amiss there.......

Folks. If you own your own domain you will be lucky to get above 10 mill Alexia rank unless you are a pro or have a blog on it and post every day. In time your domain rank would grow without any other special knowledge or work. But how many years did you want to work online before you were ever seen or made some money?

What I am getting at here is. MegaTraffic.tk has an Alexa traffic rank of 971,120 right now and is getting better every day! That means there are only 971,119 websites on the world wide web that are getting more traffic than we are! A couple of short weeks ago our rank was around 3 millionth. Yes we are growing! Mostly thanks to Edmund Donnelly! For those of you who are not sure what to post, or think you have to post just about your product. Go read Ed's blogs! He is doing a great job of posting and linking back to his main information sites and creating his own web presence! Just look.... read... learn ..... enjoy.... and leave a comment where he may have peaked your interest!

I am afraid if the rest of you do not start posting as Ed has... He and I will be the only ones benefiting from the traffic generated because we will be the only ones with interesting information on the site! Only you can decide! Are you in or out?

It saddens me to watch members and friends posting spam that no one reads and I have to delete in order to keep our traffic and rank moving in the right direction. I see we have a new member Joseph Uzoma AKPARAWA that evidently just joins every site he can find and spams them with the same old pitch. Joseph, that only ruins your name and reputation online. We appreciate your unwillingness to learn the correct way and wish you good luck with all your posts deleted.

Want to learn? The creator of this site (me) is linked to every page, click on it and post a question on my profile page. Or click on the Just Ask Live Help button for live help when we are online (it will send an email if we are offline).

You ask... "Why should I listen to you, I have been a member here and done a few posts and haven't seen a bit of traffic?"

1. There has only been 2 people posting more than 1 blog post and 1 of them is me.
MegaTraffic.tk has risen in traffic rank from about 15 millionth when we changed the name to Mega Traffic to 734,863 today. (about 6 months) all due to us 2 posters and my seo work. There are sites out there with teams of people working their butts off that still do not rank as high as MegaTraffic.tk with only 2 members posting occasional posts! I also run 4 other websites which are ranking even better than MegaT (at this moment). I have had 2 domains rank in the top 200,000 of all websites and plan on every one I own or work with to get there. Some so called guru's can't even say that.

This is yours all for free people! Our traffic could go through the roof with only a post here and there from each member! And your posts will be seen on top of searches from every search engine.... No not over night, but if we work together and our traffic rank climbs into the top 200,000, every quality post on MegaTraffic.tk might be #1 on Google within minutes. It is that powerful!

2. If you post junk like Joseph Uzoma AKPARAWA has in both our forum and our blog, any traffic we bring you will only skip over your posts..... we all have seen them before and most know it's not going to work!
Get your shit together and post interesting stuff that you actually know about. People will see you know your stuff and read it!

3. Most so called internet marketers still use backward marketing taught by the guru's online.... People smell that for miles and will not come near!
If you have by chance read some of my posts here on MegaT you would know you need to market yourself.
"How do I market myself?"
First.... be yourself! Do you remember what you like? Talk about it! You know how to do something? Tell us about it! Teach us! Our combined intelligence will beat anyone!

Drawing in the traffic is what every product and program leaves out! They may tell you to grab your friends, family, and neighbors, but that is off line marketing! They say this product will sell like hotcakes. Sure It may! But you first need to find customers to buy it!
The product will not draw in your customers (unless you are already ranking #1 on Google for its search term, and if you were..... you wouldn't be reading this!) so you will have to.

Sit around and that is exactly where you will be.

We are lucky to have a couple new members who are great writers! Be sure to stop by their profiles to say hi and check out their writing styles. (Yes this involves reading and do not forget to leave your comments!)

Happy weekend!

If you haven't visited MegaTraffic this last week, you missed out on some great conversations!
Congratulations go out to the participating members! Our Traffic Rank topped 485,000 and then when conversations slowed on Friday we dropped back a little to 485,742 today.

So go ahead and try to tell me that your conversations on MegaTraffic never get seen! Someone had to be looking to raise the traffic rank that much that quick!

I hate to say I told ya so, but haven't I said "if you do not make noise, no one will hear you" before? If you are waiting for the miracle that makes you money while you sit back and play games.... Happy waiting!
Otherwise, lets start telling these people on the internet why they should listen to and purchase from you!

I have heard some people still do not think this will work....... It will not work unless you make it! Nothing will!
If you only add a couple of posts and do not participate in any conversations, I will not work for you, Our traffic will climb and there will be no "you" for anyone to find. If they do find you, there will be no information about why they should stop and check you out. You will look like a spammer, just adding your profile to steal any traffic you can from the people that actually bring it in..... Oh wait! You are! Is this fair to the active members?

This brings up another idea. How about the MegaTraffic tribe gets to vote off the inactive people that they think are just setting back waiting to reap the profits after the active people have built it? A reality website? Can you stay in to the end and get all the traffic?

P.S. Is your website producing any traffic? Try one of the easiest to build and get real visitors to there is with no extra costs or upgrades you need before you are allowed the traffic. Build your website on SEO Traffic Blog Network and leave the SEO and webmaster duties to us.

Please state your opinions on MegaTraffics direction in the "What is MegaTraffic worth" Forum.

Because of the lack of member participation and changes at Ning, I am on the verge of either shutting down MegaTraffic or changing to a private web traffic building club with paid only membership. I am sick of only a few people carrying the load of many and no one benefiting when we all are so close, and others stealing my (and our members) ideas and techniques not knowing how to use them further confusing everyone. I am ready to help those that want it and will work for their own success without dragging the leaches around!

I am sorry for those that do not have the money to pay for real product and services. But if you got off your dead asses and checked out the ones you wasted your money on that didn't work before you paid for nothing and actually did something for yourself to make some. You would have the money and the knowledge to succeed at what ever you do.

If you don't like my information and techniques, or are to lazy to try them, get the hell off my sites and quit sitting there waiting for me to make you money or prove something works so you can steal it, while doing nothing!

If you would like more info and help.... this is the real world folks! Pay or don't get it!
I have watched hundreds of members get to the point of really getting loads of traffic and quitting because they don't think it is working. The only reason it is not working is because they have no focus so their readers have no idea what to do... but they never asked for help...... Most lose all they have worked for and start over in a new direction only to quit just before they are in position to succeed again....

I have also watched as guru's sell their systems (that usually do not work) for hundreds or thousands of dollars with the people that paid these ridiculous prices quitting and losing all that money over and over again because it is to much work or it is to hard. (most of these cost even more to move into a money making position!)

I thought I could build a free site everyone could benefit from with very little work, which I did..... But I guess "very little work" is still to much! If it is? Quit fooling yourself and go play your game or watch TV.

I am sick of the online crap folks! I will build you traffic if you really want it no matter where I end up! I refuse to keep dragging dead weight that only hurts those that are trying!

Hi Gang, Hang on... I am going to try to do some "splainin".

First, next week I should know more about what Ning is doing and will relay what will be happening to you as soon as I know.
Next, if you have not noticed..... our traffic rank is climbing like a rocket! Barring any big Internet changes, we will be better than 350,000 worldwide and under 100,000 US ranked in 7 - 10 days!
Now for the bad news..... Our time on the site and pages per visitor are starting to drop. What does that mean? It simply means, there is little going on to look at so visitors are not looking at more pages or staying to read a blog or 2. This trend if left unchecked will create a decline in traffic rank, or at least a slowdown in our climb.

I realize things are changing and you would hate to put time and effort into something that may crash or just go away. Let me assure you. MegaTraffic.tk is not going to crash or go away! With our rank growing as fast as it is with as few members as we have (check the networks with thousands of members..... not much better rank than us!) we have really got something here folks and I am not going to give up on it or you!

Changes so far:
New look! (may change some more after I know what Ning is offering)
New Blog and Forum posts are now displayed on every page of the site to give new posts even more visibility!
Home page will only be a short description of our network with the latest activity to give active members more visibility!
New "Contact Us" page with contact info and link to our new support ticket system!
New toolbar connecting us to Twitter, our new Facebook fan page plus a FB like button, Youtube and much more social media with Share (add this). Making it quick and easy to get your posts seen on other sites!
The toolbar also includes chat (text and video) so any member can easily relay info about something they are doing with other members.

I hope to reward original members for the great work you have done in building MegaT to what it is.... but that is all I can say till I am sure things will work out as I plan....

Everyone be sure to log on and say thank you to our heroes! They are easy to find! Just check the latest blog and forum posts by mousing over the "Members" tab and then clicking on the blogs or forum links. They will be on top!

MegaTraffic Changes.....

Besides launching on the new Ning platform last night I added a "Start Here" page to help
get everyone started in the right direction. I have noticed quite a few profiles with little to
no information and not even a link to more information about you. We can build millions of
visitors a day and it will not help those who offer nothing!

I welcome suggestions to the page as I put it up quickly and know there is much more that can be added.
I wish to keep it simple with easy to get started tips so everyone has a chance at our traffic.

No More Google ads! Nings decision to move to paid networks has again proven to me, running Google ads will not
provide enough income to sustain even a high traffic website. Paid member ads and text network ads I sell
will be the only traffic robbers on our network. All the traffic we generate will have to click one of our links, ads,
or simply close their browser to get away from us! WE benefit or no one does!!

The paid structure has also given me more SEO control with site stats allowing insite into what is working...... or not.
A few tweaks over the next weeks should provide a noticeable jump in overall traffic.
