Angie? The great thing about having your own blog/ business is that you have the freedom to do what is right for you. You have obviously done your homework and the research needed for this very targeted niche.

I had also noted on other similar blogs the same kind of set up in terms of short posts that are fast and easy to read. Getting creative is always ongoing. I like your thinking on the categories that you are choosing, so way to go.

In other niches ie, pets,history, diarist style blogs and even marketing style blogs then the thinking has to be different.

Costs of logos or other graphics really depends on what you are wanting, where you go and even the country where the artists are located.

The people that Tim and I use are reasonable and they do great work in a timely fashion. might add very patient too...lol, Tim and i are sticklers on what we have been wanting done but for one logo, sorry i cant say. I do know that they can range from lets say $45.00 and up. best i can do at this point.

If you want the name of our guy, let me know and I will get it to you.

PS... nope not an affiliated program...just a good artist who does quality work.

Yes, I would love his contact info. I really want a heading with my name and a cute animated pic to go with it. Something I can use on my business cards. Maybe on a shirt you know, something that when people see it they say oh, that's Angies Freebies. Please give me his info and I will get with him asap.

Yes indeed Angie! You have the time and it is working! Don't fix it! lol

Your categories and page idea is right on the mark! I find your blog a little to busy the way it is now. A little better flow with less per page will make it easier for your readers.

You have started with the Godaddy site builder, you are better off to continue on, your Blogger blog is doing exceptionally well considering your competition..... You are hitting everything just right so far!

Take your time and get it right! It will pay off in the end..... we will always be here to answer any questions that we can.

Well, this is an old post. I have since moved and learned that quick blogcast is way to limited. I need or should I say want more control over my site. So...I have decided to go with wordpress. I am currently in the middle of designing the new look while keeping the site with blogcast until I am finished. I will let you know when the makeover is complete. So, any suggestions for wordpress would be appreciated.

I am still working on finding the right header with matching banner so I would really like any input on that part. Thanks a bunch!!

Hi Angie, it has been quite a while and had wondered where you had gone? Have you noted the new chat at the bottom here? maybe let Scott or I know when you will be around and then we could do a kind of conference, that might be the best way to converse and throw out ideas?
